Absolutely quality product.I am Sri Lankan and I know the real taste anyway.This genuine ceylon tea.

If you brew it right, it taste a lot better. I brewed it qith 80c water and let it for 4 minutes for 1 teaspoon of tea leaves. Will buy again.

I honestly never realised that green tea came from other tea growing countries apart from those in the far east, so you can probably understand my surprise at find this green tea from Sri Lanka.Even though people raved about green tea I always found it bitter when using boiling water. However after watching Nadiya Hussain on TV tasting various tea’s with an expert totally changed my view of green tea, as you should not use boiling water. Apparently the bitterness is down to polyphenols (“tannins”) which start to break down at 80C. The temperature the expert suggested was around 70-85C so after investing in a new kettle with temperature control gave it a try and what a difference, pleasant refreshing green tea, and no bitter taste.OK so that is the science, now to SRILUXE – Premium Quality Ceylon Green Tea.I wanted to try loose leave green tea instead of tea bags and found this tea from Sri Lanka, the price in comparison to many Chinese/Japanese teas was very reasonable when comparing weight to cost. Once brewed the leaves unravel and are large so managed to brew at 85C the flavour was superbly refreshing and mellow, a real eye opener with the taste, then 75C, leaving 2-3 minutes to brew. The flavour at 75C was slightly better. All in all I will be buying this tea again, it has become a favourite, thoroughly refreshing and a pleasure to drink.

This is a lovely green tea however it does turn brown in colour fairly quickly which means that it is likely that the tea is overly oxidised and thus has an inferior antioxidant quality. It still tastes better than the tea bags which also oxidise in seconds. I would recommend this loose tea because it is healthy and natural!

Thought this was a delicate and delicious tasting green tea. One of the best green teas I have sampled with no bitter aftertaste. Very Good value and I thoroughly recommend this excellent green tea.

Love this tea, you can taste the freshness and you can dedtect that is has derived from an natural source. Ive had a few chinese teas and this doesnt compare. So far so good.

Wanted to be more environmentally friendly and move away from teabags. Nice, largish, tea leaves, not dusty. Makes a refreshing cuppa.

Amazing taste, you only need one teaspoon with my pervious tea I would put 2 teaspoons so it will last me longer, very reasonably priced for such a high quality tea. I will be buying more as I truly enjoyed it. It’s very mild and very delicate in taste without bitterness. I would highly recommend to give a try.

I have had tea for 65 years and didn’t know what real tea was until I bought this.

Its hard to find Sri Lankan tea in the UK most are from japan or China, the difference with Sri Lankan tea is is a very soft gentle flavour its not harsh on the palet or sharp, this tea is fantastic I highly recommend it

One of the nicest loose-leaf teas I have tried. You only need a very small amount and can keep adding hot water throughout the day with no loss of flavour. Very refreshing, I would definitely purchase this tea again!
